The ocean

Authors Note: This is about what makes the ocean so peaceful.

The ocean such a peaceful place to be and relax your mind. Listen to the waves hit the shore and the water comes up to your feet. Earth is covered with water and ice in certain places. The water has a lot of different kind of fish . Sharks are one of my favorites out of millions of other cool fish. There are fossils of fish that don't exist any more because of natural disasters and other reasons.

Superpower

Authors Note: This is about what I would want for a super power.

The superpower I would like to have the ability to hypnotize people. They would listen to my commands then so they could spy on people for me. Strangers could do my dirty work for me and if my victims get caught, they lose all their memory that has happened. Then I could have an army of civilians to take over countries and I could set back and watch in my limo. I would take over and turn the earth into a battle station of mass destruction.

Favorite place to vacation

Authors Note: This is about where my Favorite place to Vacation.

My favorite place is Florida because of the hot weather. There is a lot of beaches and there is Disneyland. They have some of the best water parks and wave poles. You can also tease the graders, but I warn don't be too close they will chase you . They do have some of the best restaurants that I have tasted. I really liked their crab cakes at this one restaurant.

Spring Assessment

The Tragic Event

What is a category 5 hurricane, it’s not a storm that goes over land and still some people don’t understand. People don’t think even if there somewhat far away from the coast. Some people don’t get a chance to evacuate their homes and businesses to a safer area. The chance for survival is slim and the danger of mud slide increase as well. Category 5 hurricanes cause the most mudslides and deaths.

A category 5 hurricane a supreme force of nature and still case’s a lot of terrible things to happen. For example a mud slide, the rain loosens up the dirt on a hill and that is how a town of 55 went 22 in hours. They didn’t have any warning or evacuation t time.

The family in the book didn’t even know that there was a mud slide outside, until one of them went out there and all their neighbor’s houses were gone. When I look at it these people reacted like this is the first storm to ever effect them, the biggest thing that got me where is the police the authority of this non- fictional town . It is ridicules in so many ways.

The book has a lot of human stupidly in it and that human is that Author. Let’s get back to the point. This little town just got reduced to a village and this village was wondering would they ever recover from this natural disaster? My answer was yes if they got the right amount of help yes.

A hurricane is a great force of nature and it can cause a lot of different disaster to happen like landslides. The people in this book didn’t have warning well in the real world we do and we should be all thank full to have it.

Droping out of School

Author’s Note: There should be no dropping out of school at all in any country. If you don't go to school you won’t learn the certain skills you need to get a good job.

What if you were a teenager and dropped out of school and were too embarrassed to go to summer school because of your age: what would you do? The teenager probably should have never dropped out in the first place, but if he was motivated to finish school, he would have to teach himself. People should never drop out of school and never give up on their dreams.

The author of “A Summer’s Reading”, Bernard Malamud, wrote the story in his point of view. The character in the story was talking in the first person point of view. The author used first person pronouns, for example when George said, “I like to walk”.   His point of view is really easy to notice. He does not want kids to make this choice of being in George’s shoes of struggling in life.

Don’t end up having to be a homeless person when you grow. That’s where George would have ended up if he dint get his act together. Don’t make the stupid dissections then regret them later in life.  Don’t give up on your dreams just because of school and how lame you think it is. School is there to help you it’s not something to avoid.

There should be no one dropping out of school because they think it is boring. Really schools prepare you for life in the real world.  This is not a time to get ridiculous ideas of dropping out of school. If you want to get out school finish strong and go to college, then you will see school is step one, college is step two, and step three is to get a job.

Your Friend/Enemy Is Really Your Enemy

Author's Note: The book was a great read and on a scale 1 being the worst, I rate it at a 10 for best.

If there was not a novel that did not have action, hoer-er and death, what would this book be about? In my opinion the book would be very lame and I would probably never look at it again.  The author of ‘The Enemy’ Charlie Higson does a great job of picking where the book takes place and how much the characters fit in with the place.

The Author did something that I have been looking for in a book for along time. The scenery is London but imagine it being abandon and it is infested with adult zombies. The only living people are kids that fight to survive against these adults. They meet many kids that are still living around London.

The reason the kids cant get out because all the bridges to get out of London were destroyed and they could swim, but that's were all the adults hang around. So technically they are trapped in London.

That all changes when they meet up with a group of kids that are living in the palace of London. They want to kill all the adults and take back the city. The kids get into allot of fights and they have even battled for control. But in the end all the adults are killed and now piece is in London.

The Best Book

Authors Note: I really like Double or Die probably most of all in the whole James Bond series. I recommend it to be a good read.

If you had to read an adventure novel that included action, mystery and suspense, what would you think of it? Most people like these characteristics in a book. The author of Double or Die, Charlie Higson, does a great job of creating a mystery that surrounds  the main character, a young James Bond, who seems to always find a problem to solve.

Charlie Higson did something I would never expect: to begin a mystery with a letter, that contains a secret code.  I though it was kind of weird  that a teacher would make so many mistakes, but then I found out that he made the mistakes on purpose. There was a cipher or a code, hidden in the mistakes. The cipher plays a big part in the story because it carries through the whole book. In retrospect the cipher  is the last clue and if they never so the letter they wold of never been able to figure out the 1 clue or the other clues, for example you need to examine a lock first to see what kind of key fits in to it. So its like the letter being the lock and the words being the key.

I love that an author can actually create and recreate a mystery and turn it in to a story. The main character James bond also played a big part in the story and all the other characters made it a great story also.
