Me Being Born

Author's Note: In this piece for the district assessment I explain my childhood. Pay attention to the story of my life.


Waa , I was born March 8th 1999 in a hospital in Wisconsin. When I was 4 or 5 I put some rock in my ear and I count get them out. The doctors tried to get them out with tweezers. But I screamed too much. So I had surgery to remove the rocks as I slept. It turns out I actually had too rocks in my ear. When I was 3,4,5 or 6 I said my first word and it was ponto. I got the word ponto from a vase at grandparents house. It’s pretty odd what a chilled can remember about is younger years of age.

Some of my favorite things to do are fishing, camping, playing basket ball, swimming, playing video games and boiling. Xbox would be my favorite thing to do because I like playing Call off duty Modern war fare 3. My favorite part in call of duty 3 is when you’re in Paris and you have to capture the enemy's bomb maker. You half to fight your way through enemy lines to get to the high valued target in time.

Some of my lest favorite thing do are running, going to the mall, having to do chores and my parents asking what I did at school today. Doing chores would be my least favorite thing to because you half to work and get off the couch. I like debugging the computer more than doing my parents work for them and they get to slack off. I may not look fit but I do left waits on a dally bases and I do go on the treadmill.




Founding Fathers

Author's Note: In this piece it explains what I think of my country,  Pay attention to what I say about it.

The United States of America is the land of the free and the home of the brave.  These words sum up the ideas the founding fathers had when they wrote the constitution. Things like the government and the economy seem to be basic buildings blocks. The founding fathers had a dream of a better society like investing money in better technologies. Slavery was probably the worst thing this country and the founding fathers ever did. Opportunity is the result of their works which is why people come here to live.

The basic structure of the government like the four branches ensures the economy can function to better the lives of all peoples. The four branches are Supreme Court, president, House of Representatives, and the senate. The branches act as filters so laws have to pass each branch in order for a law to become the law of the land. The economy helps redistribute wealth so all people from the wealthy to the poor and everyone in between can access wealth. This assures the peoples lead better and healthier lives in the society. Technology was probably one of the best things they did because today we have computers, modern day banking and mailing services. For example, one of the founding fathers, Ben Franklin invented the printing press and the post office.

America is an idea created by the founding fathers. The constitution reflects this idea. Not all things were great but were changed to better the lives of all citizens. Thank you founding fathers for being brave. Writing and making the ideas happen must have been hard.      

The Florida Keys



Author's note: This piece will be about a vacation I went on. Focus on what I did during the vacation.  

Well at first it was boring driving down the highway at night in an eerie night sky. When I got to the camp ground it was nice but when morning came it was not as nice as I thought. I thought there would be natural beaches there but it turns out there all man made beaches. The beaches are man made because of the reefs. I didn’t think there would be chickens on the streets. The keys were more than I thought it would be.

As my dad drove our RV over the water high way I saw peculiar things like sand bars in the middle of the ocean. There were people sitting out in their chairs on the sand bars in the water having a good time. When I got there we had to switch where we park are RV because it stunk where we were. After we moved are RV I wanted to go see the beaches and when I stepped on the sand it felt like I was stepping on needles. That’s when I knew they were man made beaches. The thing that surprised me the most was all the chickens running around in the streets.

To the boring drive down to the man mad beaches the keys are pretty good. The best was the coral reefs and the different colors. The most fun I had was the chickens because you do not see that a lot in the United States. 

 James bound the Final mission 

Author's Note: This is the cause of something he did in the past that effects him in the future.  

Well  James in  Sliver Fin, at the end of the James destroyed Dr, Friends lab by burning it down.  In book 5  James was kidnapped by Dr, Friend because he wanted revenge for almost burning him alive in the fire and parts of his skin is burnt and discolored. The effect was when  he captured James and wanted to skin him alive.  He wanted to use James’s  skin to fix his own skin from the fire

Alex's Demise 

Author's Note: This piece is about Aleks Rider. Focus on why he quit MI6.   

In the last book of the Alex’s Rider series, he changed in a dramatic way when his house keeper was captured by the enemy. When Alex was capture and his house keeper was trying to escape it turns out it was a trap. Alex watched helplessly as his house keeper was killed and that’s what changed Alex’s life forever.     

 The patriot vs my brother Sam is Dead

Author's note: This Peace will be about 2 story's. Focus on the  compare and contrast.      

My book is called My Brother Same is dead. The book is about two brothers one is older than the other. The younger one looks up to his older brother. There are some conflicts because the father of these two boys is loyal to the king. In the movie The Patriot, there is a boy named Gabriel. He is the oldest son, then there is Thomas the second oldest. There are 4 young children around the ages of 4, 5 and 6. Benjamin is widowed father of these children. I will compare and contrast the movie and the book and see what is different and the same. 

The main character in the book, Sam had to argue a lot because he was fighting on the patriot’s side. That is what was tearing this family apart. In the movie The Patriot, the thing that got Benjamin angry was when a British Colonel shot is second oldest son Thomas. 

In the movie The Patriot the two boys wanted to fight against the red coats. In the book, one of the boys wanted to fight against the red coats. The second child never really said if he wanted to fight with the red coats or with the patriots. 

Over all the entire book and the movie were very similar because there are two boys that lose their older brother. They witness the war on their front door step. The book and the movie overall were very much alike with a few differences.           

 The Hunger games 

  Author's Note: This piece will be about a girl fighting and finding true love.  

I was running through the forest and I climbed up on a tree. I looked around and I saw a camp fire then I heard a scream. The scream brought me back to when my sister was being taken away.  I stepped forward and said “I volunteer for tribute”. That is where it all started for me. I will survive the hunger games because I made a promise to my sister. 

Her younger sister would have done the tribute because she loves her older sister. The older sister Catness Everdeen joined the other tributes from the other districts. The mocking jay pendant was her good look charm. The point of this battle was to teach the districts not to wage war against their own government.

Cattiness was fighting for days for the condition she was in. When she fought she gave hope to the other districts. She started a mob within the districts which motivated the colonist to fight back against the government. I survived the battle and found true love as well.
