Authors note: I believe in everything I have said in this paper and I hope I don’t have to regret any thing I have said.
The U.S. has many things to offer such as its many privileges to all peoples and its abundant natural resources. This country also offers beautiful places to visit and natural landmarks worth remembering.. Then there’s the blue sky above looking down at you that’s peaceful. I think I am very proud of my country and no one will tell me different.
The U.S. is better then other countries; we have more money, people, and opportunity. We have freedom, justice and protection against terrorist, criminals and other enemies. We also have immigrants who are still coming from other countries looking for a better home. There are more resources here then any where else in the world. Resources like coal, natural gas, and oil. This country also has clean water and paved roads. The United States was the first country to attempt a manned mission to the moon. We also have a big government and economy and we also have technology to help us along the way.
I always wanted to visit Mount Rushmore . Mount Rushmore looks so cool and life like. The heads look
so much like the presidents with all the fine details carved into them. Another great place to see would be the Grand Canyon . It’s hard to believe that big place was carved from a river. I always hear great things about Yellowstone National Park . It’s very large and is home to many animals like bears and wolves. All of these mentioned places offer peace and quiet.
The United States is truly a land of beauty and opportunity. This country has many resources to offer, both man made and natural. No wonder why so many people want to call this country home. When Americans move overseas to live, often they cannot wait to return to America – home.
Did you write the author's note really small because you don't want people to read it? It really draws attention to it, so don't do it.
ReplyDeleteMr. Graf has been saying that you shouldn't have your thesis statement be "I think..." You know, you CAN edit it. How do you even "think" you are proud of your country? Just say, "I am proud of my country." Don't keep the last part, though because people will just stop reading your paper because people CAN tell you different if they believed that.
